2023 International Grassland Congress

Published on 23 March 2021

The XXV International Grassland Congress (IGC) will be held May 14-19, 2023, in Covington, Kentucky. The congress will gather forage and grassland scientists, students, extension, industry and producers from around the world to share their research results and their experiences.

More information will be distributed in coming months on the paper submission process and more details about tours, accompanying events and other highlights of the XXV IGC. Click here for the first announcement of this worldwide forage and grassland congress.

The congress venue is on the Ohio River at the junction of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. Mid-congress tours will highlight grasslands and livestock production in these three central states, and pre-congress tours will include subtropical grasslands of Florida and Southeastern states, native prairie grasslands of the central U.S., western U.S. grasslands and seed production areas, and the East Coast, including Washington D.C. Additional information can be found at the International Grassland Congress website.

The IGC organizing committee also encourages you to consider attending the joint International Grassland/International Rangeland Congress in Kenya this October.  end mark
