This year’s show, hosted by Matt and Jana Hamlett Farms, gave attendees another opportunity to see the latest forage production equipment put to the test in live field demonstrations.
Producers from several Midwestern states and as far away Alabama were treated to the latest information in equipment, forage varieties, storage options and preservation techniques.
Beef and dairy producers also found information about how the forage industry in continuing to offer advances in quality and digestibility, allowing them to make the best management decisions for their operations, as well.
Wet weather at the beginning of the week kept field demonstrations to one day, but most attendees found great learning opportunities both in the field and at a large tradeshow set up near the production areas. FG
