New Kuhn 4835 in-line ripper models

Kuhn North America Inc. is pleased to introduce the completed range of 4835 in-line rippers, which now includes all models from 430R-1130F and completely replaces the 4830 range.

A new parabolic shank is now available as an option for all 4835 models. This shank provides more surface disturbance than a minimum residue disturbance (MRD) shank and will be useful for customers looking to incorporate significant quantities of residue. This new shank is also available with coverboards to promote even more residue incorporation. When coverboards are not fitted, a wear bar is mounted to the face of the shank to provide additional wear life.

A newly developed MRD shank is also available for the 4835. This shank is positioned between the no-till and parabolic shank options in terms of residue incorporation and soil disturbance. The new MRD shank utilizes the same wear bar as the no-till shank and the same 7-inch wing points as the parabolic shank, reducing the number of overall components across the offering for simplified inventory management.

No-till shanks are available for customers requiring the minimum of surface disturbance and residue incorporation. In addition to the ¾-inch standard-duty shank, a 1-inch version is also offered for customers working in particularly hard conditions.

The 4835 features a newly designed 6-by-6-inch frame reinforced for additional strength. Gauge wheel adjustment has also been improved so it is accessible from the rear of the machine without having to reach over the frame. All models feature a three-point hitch, with five shanks and greater models also offering an optional pull hitch with rear lift wheels. Where a pull hitch is fitted, the machine is equipped with single front stabilizer wheels for 530R-830F models and dual front stabilizer wheels for 930F-1130F models as standard equipment.

Bobcat Company expands its industry-leading Features On Demand technology platform to 60 platform R-Series loaders

Bobcat Company is expanding its proprietary Features on Demand digital platform to include all 60 platform R-Series compact track loaders and skid steer loaders. First launched in August 2020 on the T76 and S76 R-Series loaders, Features On Demand is a first-of-its-kind, wholly customizable technology that allows owners to enable additional machine features after purchase.

How it works

Features On Demand allows customers to have certain features enabled by their local Bobcat dealer at the time of machine purchase. Customers can demo the fully equipped loaders, then pick the features they want to keep. If customers discover a need for additional features after purchasing and using the machine, they have the flexibility to add them to their existing Bobcat R-Series compact loader quickly and easily within four years of the initial purchase, as their equipment needs change.

Features focused on you and your business

With Features On Demand, customers can truly customize their machine and have features enabled that help complete specific tasks. This currently includes the following feature options on machines equipped with the optional Features On Demand performance package:

  • Two-speed travel
  • High-flow hydraulics
  • Automatic ride control
  • Dual-direction bucket positioning
  • Reversing fan
  • Auto-throttle

In addition, a new slimmed-down Features On Demand Package is now an available option to order exclusively on 60 platform R-Series loaders. At a reduced cost, the new package offers select key features, including: two-speed travel, dual-direction bucket positioning and automatic ride control.

As an industry leader in compact equipment, Bobcat Company is constantly exploring ways to use new technologies to help its customers accomplish more. Additional Features On Demand options will become available in 2022 and beyond. More information about the patent-pending Features On Demand can be found by contacting your local Bobcat dealer or by visiting their website.

Agri-King introduces new Silo-King Hay product

Agri-King is delighted to introduce Silo-King Hay. Though the original Silo-King has been applied as a successful hay treatment for over 50 years, Silo-King Hay is a unique product designed to fit the specific needs of hay producers.

Silo-King Hay is the culmination of many years of on-farm research and development. Using higher levels of antioxidants and Agri-King’s proprietary enzyme blend, Silo-King Hay delivers a synergistic formulation specific for baled hay to help reduce dry matter losses, limit oxidation and increase digestibility. Silo-King Hay can also be applied to a wide variety of hay types, including alfalfa, grass and timothy. Increased concentration makes it ideal for higher-volume producers, and Agri-King has a line of applicators to ensure proper distribution.

If you are baling hay and looking for an additive that will help increase value and return on investment, contact your local Agri-King Area Manager today or visit agriking.com to see how Silo-King Hay could fit your operation.
