Progressive Forage designated as the official publication of AFGC

The American Forage and Grassland Council (AFGC) is pleased to announce industry collaboration with Progressive Forage to designate the international magazine as the official publication of AFGC.

Robert Shoemaker, AFGC president from Fauquier County, Virginia, says, “AFGC looks forward to better serving the forage and grassland industry by collaborating with such a high-quality publication.”

As an international organization, AFGC aspires to be the leader and voice of economically and environmentally sound forage-focused agriculture. The organization is made up of 20 affiliate councils in the U.S. and Canada. The primary objective is to promote the profitable production and sustainable utilization of quality forage and grasslands.

With a U.S. and Canadian circulation of over 46,000 qualified readers, Progressive Forage provides cutting-edge, practical information regarding all phases of forage production and harvest. The sources, expertise and authors found in each issue are balanced from a variety of voices within agriculture, including university extension, industry authorities, researchers and market analysts.
