Media and industry representatives were given a tour of the various displays showing the high-tech science of farming, future demands and career opportunities in agriculture.

After touring the exhibit and viewing the broadcast, key points presented included:

  •  is a progressive and high-tech industry in need of new people in nearly every career discipline.

  • There will be great demands placed on farming in the near future as population grows and land resources decrease.

  • Agriculture needs to be pushed beyond the field and entrepreneurs of the upcoming generations need to be recruited.
