“Change, Challenge and Opportunity” was the theme for the 2010 Washington State Hay Growers Association (WSHGA) annual conference on January 13-14 at the Three Rivers Convention Center, Kennewick, Washington.

More than 400 members and industry attended the annual educational conference and trade show – their largest attendance to date.

The Association provided an exceptional program with industry updates that provided valuable information to growers. Topics included getting the most from your fertilizer dollars, transportation rules, variety value, preparing liens and collecting bad debt and much more.

The trade show featured over 40 vendors representing seeds, fertilizers, soil and tissue testing, hay analysis, haying equipment, irrigation systems, hay sheds, tarp systems and ag lenders.

The WSHGA is committed to enhancing communications, supporting and providing opportunities for recognition of superior-quality forage products and representing the Washington forage industry through research, education and promotion.

The next WSHGA Conference and Trade Show will be January 12-13, 2011 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, WA. For more information visit  FG
