Progressive Forage is proud to feature the Category I and Category II first place winners of the 2021 American Forage and Grassland Council (AFGC) National Youth in Forage Management Essay Contest. Students in grades 6-9 competed in Category I, and grades 10-12 competed in Category II.

Category I: Audrey Hoien is a seventh grade student from Atkins, Arkansas, and the winner of the 2021 AFGC youth essay contest, sixth to ninth grade division. Read her essay, "The grazing puzzle."
