In a recent online poll, Progressive Forage asked, “Do you plant a nurse crop with a new alfalfa seeding?”
About 31.6 percent said no, they do not plant a nurse crop. The majority, 68.4 percent, said yes, they plant a nurse crop with a new alfalfa seeding.
